Services

Audio mastering is the final stage of audio production, where a track is prepared for distribution and playback across all devices. It involves fine-tuning the track to ensure it sounds polished and consistent, and to meet the technical requirements for manufacturing.

Lacquer Disc Mastering

The lacquer disc is the first step in the manufacturing process for professionally pressed records. We offer 12", 10" and 7" lathe cut master lacquer discs at 33.3RPM and 45RPM on our Neumann VMS 70 lathe system with Techniques SP02 Direct Drive Unit. We work with all major plating facilities and pressing plants. We like to work directly with artists, labels, brokers and manufacturers. Quick turnaround, easy to work with, great sounding masters, no extra fees.

Vinyl Pre Master

Preparing digital audio files for vinyl manufacturing is a very important step, often a required step by most manufacturers. We will take care of all the specialized details to ensure your masters are ready to be pressed. Our knowledge of the vinyl process and experience in cutting master disc lacquers will ensure the best quality possible when pressing vinyl, using DMM or sending files to be cut at another facility.

Digital Mastering

A digital master prepares a song, EP, or album for release, on digital formats, including Compact Disk, online streaming services and high resolution digital audio files for storage, management and future consideration. The process can include analog and digital workflows combined to enhance, elevate and finalize studio mixdowns.

Digital Audio Archiving and Restoration

The process of preserving and organizing digital data for long-term access and retrieval. We can archive from multiple analog sources and secure, organize and preserve digital collections for physical or cloud storage. Restoration services are available if any clean up, editing, signal processing or restoration is required.

Mastering is different from mixing, and should not be used to drastically change the genre or style of the music. The goal of mastering is to polish the sound while keeping the original intentions of the artist and producer.
